I have taken a keen interest in the domain name industry since the early days. I registered my first .co.uk back in 1993 and have registered well over 200 for clients and personal projects since that time.

Of course the best course of action is to register your business name as both a .com and your country code top-level domain. This is not always possible though as someone else could own a business with the same name, or the name may have been registered by a domainer with the intention of making a small profit.
